About Me

I am an avid new sprouter, and want to make sprouts my main protein, iron, carbohydrate, fat, probiotics, b-vitamins, minerals (in most cases), and <insert whatever else it turns out sprouts are an all-sufficient food for>, SOURCE!!!!!

I really can't believe sprouts can truly be super rich and powerful in all the above things, sprouts truly is the king of (raw) vegan diets! Which means king of all diets ;). After many months, I think I have found the best diet to serve me for the rest of my life! It's only a small part of an all-natural lifestyle, but one where, combined with other powerful factors, it truly works and rewards for the best health a human can possibly seek on this planet!

I didn't purposefully say 'right I wanna go raw vegan' and ended up a sproutarian because of that desire - I'm not one of those 'labels' / fad followers obsessed with buzzwords like 'HCRV', paleo this, or ketogenic that - I've just had a few basic but important large rationales (like no animal foods, and even in plant foods, as simple and original a source of nutrients as possible), a few ephinaies on the way (like the fact that meditative eating and super chewing can be a SUPPLANTER of cooking, blending, or juicing food!), and here I am, having discovered that sprouts are an incredible plant source for protein and at the same, all the things mentioned above anyway - clearly, it's the highest possible quality instance of carbs that you can possibly eat on the PLANET.

I also wanna get into raw microgreens too, and experiment with different stages of sprouting / green shoot stages to see what they all give (trade-off wise) nutritionally!

I've got much to learn, but in the end I'll be an expert I'm sure! My other primary source of foods I want to be weeds, and then lastly I want to combine the two ideas and sprout wildcrafted seeds of all sorts, and carefully learn what's safe (and nutrionally amazing) out there, eventually!

I'm in Australia!

Cheers and I'll be periodically back :).

About Me

Hi!  I have practiced a high raw diet for about 6 years.  I feel the science in sprouting seems sound and want to incorporate more sprouts in my diet.

There is definitely more satisfaction in eating something I've grown rather than going to the store and woofing down 7 bananas.

About Me

I eat junk everyday knowing that it is not good for me, but I do it anyway because I don't know what else to do. And that truly bothers me. I'm 33 years old, and I have some health issues, and I see what the standard American diet is doing to me and those around me. It's very sad to see what we are all doing to ourselves.

I know there's a better way. I know there a better diet for man. I just don't know how to make it work for myself – how to prepare the foods and make them actually taste good. I know from experience that if you can't get it to taste good, you won't stick with it for very long.

I usually prefer to learn on my own from books and videos rather than a classroom type setting. But, in this case, I feel like I really need more than just books and videos – I need people who can actually show me how to do it, because otherwise I know I will not succeed. I need help.

I would love to go to the Hippocrates Health Institute and get the training that I need, but I don't have 2,000 + dollars. The other health institutes I know of are just about as expensive. I'm hoping I will be able to connect with other like-minded people through this forum and some how benefit from that.

I know there's nothing more important than ones health, that's why I found my way to this site. I've been reading the articles here and watching the videos, so I know the importance of eating the live food fresh while it still has life force energy. I want more of that. I want my body to heal. I want to feel better than I've ever felt in my life. I want to be alive.

I don't want to eat this way just for health, but for spiritual reasons as well. I want to eat lighter and raise my vibration. I want to be able to eat less food. I want the cells in my body to sing. I want to awaken to my purpose and be a better cleaner version of myself so that the Spirit can use me to help others in some way. I want to make my life count.

I want to be as healthy as I can be for as long as I'm on this earth. If I live to be old, I don't want to be in the horrible shape that I see my grandparents in.  Most of which is totally avoidable.

I've tried different versions of Ann Wigmore's energy soup. But, I couldn't ever get it to taste good. I've tried Green Smoothies like Victoria Boutenko teaches. I even learned to make a few of them that actually taste pretty good. But, I get sick of smoothies pretty quickly. I can't see eating just fruits and leafy greens all day.

I do feel like it's too much fruit (sweetness) and that maybe Brian Clement is right about that. But, then again, sprouts don't sound that appealing either – on their own anyway. I've quit eating dairy products, and I'd like to do the same with meat, although I'm not sure how I'm going to manage that one. I eat meat almost every meal – it's like the only thing that fills me up for very long.

That bothers me too – that animals have to die for me eat. This is a sick world we're living in, and it needs to change. I'd rather be apart of the change than part of the problem.

Being able to grow and sprout my own food appeals to me. That means I have control over the food, I can keep it organic, and hopefully it won't cost me as much. Although, lacking the experience causes me to procrastinate on learning this stuff. That's another reason why hands on training would be very beneficial.

I would also like to learn how to forage for wild edibles, but I don't know of anyone in my area that can show me this stuff. I've learned a few plants from books, but again, in person training would be a lot better.

I don't think we should be eating cooked or processed foods. It's unnatural. I would also like to be 100% raw once I figure out how to make it taste good. There's no reason for eating any food cooked – it's just not natural. I don't think we should be mixing a bunch a foods together either, we're the only animals that do that.

I could go on and on, but this is long enough already. I'm glad to be here. I'm looking forward to meeting and learning from other like-minded people.  I wish I had friends in the real world (offline world) that were into this stuff also, but I unfortunately don't know anybody else who is.  Better to have online friends that share your interests than none at all I guess.

About Me

Brian Nexus is a 100 raw food sproutarian. He lives off 25 different sprouted foods and fully believes that living primarily on sprouts is the best diet possible. He doesn't believe that vegetables, fruits or unsprouted seeds should be a mainstay of anyones diet, and believes vegetables should be avoided if possible or at most they should be used as secondary foods to play the role of condiments. Unsprouted seeds should play a minimum role in the diet, and fruit should be eaten sparingly because sprouted foods play a much healthier role in the current environment of high stress and pollution. Brian does eat some fruit, unsprouted chia seeds and weeds, but very occasionally he will eat unsprouted flax seeds, but apart from that everything else in his diet is sprouted. Brian lives on a diet of nut sprouts, legume sprouts, seed sprouts, grain sprouts, grasses, weeds, algae and fruit.

John Kearns is a highly spiritual raw food vegan who is a 100% raw foodist. He survives on very little food each day, sleeps very little each night (averages 2 hours), and is physically very active. His main purpose is spreading the message of good health for the body, mind and soul to people who want to improve their lifestyle. John is aiming to go 100% sproutarian soon, but his main aims are to get people plugged into a lifestyle to live a life full of meaning and free of stress.
