Why is sprouted food the best food and why sprouts make the healthiest diet?

 Sprouted foods are the most preferred diet to eat in this day and age because they are by far the most nutritious, and given that most people have no access to fresh picked food, it is even more reason why people should be eating sprouted foods as the majority of their diet. 

One of the world’s leading bio-energetic doctors Professor Dr Valerie Hunt tested sprouted foods at UCLA in the 1970's  and found that on average that sprouts like alfalfa, clover, broccoli (yes, the sprout is far more nutritious than the fully grown vegetable), sesame, sunflower, lentil, mung, adzuki, soy, fenugreek, and other soil-less sprouts are roughly 10 times as nutritious as the best freshly picked organic green vegetables such as broccoli, kale and spinach. Dr Hunt also found that soil based immature greens such as buckwheat lettuce, sunflower greens, wheat grass, rye grass, barley grass and pea shoot greens are on average 30 times as nutritious as the best organic dark green vegetables. How can this be so? First it is important to note that sprouting decreases anti nutrients such as tannins, phytic acid, oxalic acid and uric acid - this means that minerals in the plants become much more bio-available to the body. Here is just one example a  site member Living Foods sent me to demonstrate the brilliance of sprouting:

 In the journal `Food Chemistry - Vol 58 Issue 4, it mentions “antinutrients like phytate and tannins reduce the nutrient bioavailability which can be improved by suitable processing methods such as germination and fermentation”. It reported that sprouting finger millet for 1 day showed the phytate × Calcium/Zinc molar ratio decreased from 163 to 66.2, indicative of an increased Zinc bioavailability. The journal Physiologia Plantarum Vol 128 issue 1 also stated for wheat sprouts that the highest Zinc concentration in the seeds was found in the first stage of seed development (around the early milk stage); after this, seed Zinc concentration gradually decreased until maturity. Lots and lots of science testing shows that sprouting decreases all anti nutrients while increasing amino acid levels, vitamin levels, mineral availablity, oxygen levels, phyto-nutrient levels etc. It is important to realise that a seed has all it's concentrated power in the original seed which is used to grow a full mature plant, and when that seed is sprouted the original power of the seed is unleashed into the baby plant (sprout) until the first 2 - 8 days (depends on the type of sprout), during those optimal days the sprout reaches peak nutrition with maximum bioavailability to the body - after this peak period the baby plant them starts to grow into an adult because it's original seed power is used up and the plant then begins fending for itself by growing roots that start using the soil around to begin it's phase into adulthood.   That initial burst of energy from the seed stops and the plant starts to develop undesirable characteristics again (harder fiber, anti nutrients, vitamin/mineral levels drops etc) and the peak nutrition stage of the immature plants (sprouts) has ended.

And when we talk about nutrition, we are just not talking about vitamins and minerals, we are talking about things that are arguably even more important such as hormones, enzymes and phyto-nutrients. And before anyone says that here is another raw fooder who is full of nonsense because food enzymes are useless and destroyed by stomach acid, well….scientific research has now shown via `tagging therapy’ where food enzyme supplements have been tagged with radioactive dye have been traced in the mouth, liver, kidneys, heart, lungs, duodenum, urine, intestines and the feces (much more on this later). The Ann Wigmore lnstitute also found that sprouts have up to 100 times the enzyme content than fresh vegetables do, and this is very very important, it is so important that l will devote a good chapter to this topic alone. So now we can start to see how Dr Hunt arrived at such figures for sprouts, they are indeed virtual enzyme and phyto-nutrient factories. But in addition to these things is the fact that many minerals and fatty acids become much much more available to the human body and are absorbed much easier because nearly all the nutrient inhibitors are eliminated (makes the minerals more available, such as zinc being 400% more available in some sprouts and calcium being almost 200% more available in other sprouts such as alfalfa) and the fats are converted and broken down into immediately usable fatty acids (so omega 3’s are 36 times more available when chia seeds are sprouted into chia grass). And in addition to that is the fact that in many sprouts vitamin A increases 1000’s %, B vitamins can increase up to 2,000%, vitamin C can increase 1000’s %, the highly elusive Vitamin D occurs in a bunch of different sprouts (a very important section on that later), Vitamin E can increase up to 600%, vitamin K increase 1000’s % etc etc. So given that many folks are missing out on good amounts of vitamins and minerals because it is difficult to get high amounts from most foods, it makes perfect sense to get them from sprouts.  

Now, if you doubt that sprouted foods are 10 – 30 times as nutritious as the best freshly picked green vegetables, try it out for yourself. Spend a week living on fruit and see how you go, then spend a week living of green vegetable juices and see how you go, then spend a week living on sprout juices and see how you go. Also compare the strong taste of sprout juices to vegetable juices - you will find that sprout juices taste far stronger than any vegetable juices, that's because you are getting a far higher potency of available nutrition from those plants. I know that when l eat fruit l lack power and energy when compared to my usual sproutarian diet because the fruit is days to months old and lacks the vibrational frequency of freshly harvested food  (fruit loses much of it’s nutrition and electrical frequency soon after it is picked from the tree), and when l drink green vegetable juices l coast along but l don’t kick into top gear (vegetables lose much of it’s nutrition and frequency  after being picked and is much less nutritious when compared to sprouts). But as soon as l eat the sea vegetables, algae and sprouts l kick into high gear straight away and never look back. The raw sprouted foods are so far superior to any other foods on the planet (except weeds, sea weeds and algae) that there is no comparison; they are always fresh, the most nutritious and the ultimate power food that never fails to let you down. 

Now, given that the modern day soils are supposed to be much less nutrient rich than 100 years ago and that one carrot in those days is supposed to equal 20 carrots these days….doesn’t it make sense to be eating foods that are the most nutritious? And given that we have radiation and lots of pollution and are under lots of stress and most of us have no access to freshly picked plant foods, isn’t it best to eat food that is still growing until you take your first bite? 

One of the  problems is that when plant food is picked, it loses it’s vital electromagnetic vibration (chi) very quickly, so it’s ability to pass on it’s energy to the human body/cells is quickly lost. When fruit and vegetables are picked days or weeks or months before eating, the loss of enzymes,  vitamins, mineral availability, phyto-nutrients, oxygen and electromagnetic vibrations (caused by an enzyme decrease), causes the food to become stripped of most of it's nutrition and electric frequency. This results in many shop and farmers market foods lacking significant life force. Dr Hunt also tested this (electromagnetic vibration in foods) and found that plant food is virtually worthless after three weeks of being picked from the tree. So yes, it is no surprise that most fruit and vegetables from shops make me and other sproutarians feel so underpowered….it’s a good way to become undernourished and get health problems. No wonder so many vegans (including raw vegans) struggle to be healthy, they are living on chronically deficient food that lacks significant life force. If you choose to do a diet that is really healthy, sprouts MUST form a large proportion of the diet. And if sproutarians occasionally become deficient in various nutrients due to heavy workloads and stressful conditions, then what hope do other people have living on far less nutritious diets??? 

 

Most blood testing provides false security

If you think that your blood results show perfect nutrient levels, then think again. Most blood testing only tests for what is in the blood, they don't test for what is absorbed. So next time you go for a blood test for nutrient levels, ask if they can test for nutrients that you have absorbed. Many natural hygiene raw vegans claim they have perfect blood levels, but how much are they really absorbing? Can a natural hygiene raw vegan really have sufficient nutrient levels when most of them eat food that isn't fresh??? Well, according to Dr Brian Clement's tests on many of these raw vegans over the decades, no. From the tests that Dr Clement has conducted, he has concluded that around 90% of natural hygiene raw vegans are deficient in B12, and around 50% of them are deficient in vitamin A and D.

Even Michael Donaldson, PhD, exposed Vitamin B12 and D deficiencies In Hallelujah Diet vegetarians. In addition to this the following was also said: 

" In this paper, we will closely examine a research paper by Michael Donaldson, PhD and highlight the nutritional deficiencies he found in 141 Hallelujah vegetarian dieters.   As we shall see, the diet is not “ideal” because it has several deficiencies.  It is:

 * Too high in carbohydrates

 * Too low in protein

 *  Low in energy (calories)

 *  Completely missing two essential micronutrients and low in seven others

 *  Requires eating voluminous amounts of vegetables (over a gallon per day) if properly done

  After evaluating the 7-day food diaries of these Hallelujah vegetarians, Dr. Donaldson sounds an ominous note of alarm:

 “Some modifications of this dietary pattern to provide vitamins B12 and D, and higher intakes of iron, selenium, zinc and protein may be necessary for successful long-term health.”

 Now these folks were supposed to be having "85% raw fresh fruits and vegetables and 15% healthy cooked" (vegan) while including "lots of juicing, which included a daily regimen of 64 ounces of fresh vegetable juice consisting of 50% carrot and the other 50% greens like kale, chard, celery, spinach, cucumber, and zucchini" along with green barley powder. Despite drinking all these vegetable juices and barley grass powder, many still supposedly came up deficient in nutrients!  

lt just goes to show that vegan diets consisting of fruit and vegetables aren't necessarily healthy for the average person because the food is lacking in nutrients to properly feed the body. Now if these people were actively meditating on sound and light, the story could well be different. 

 

 

 

 

Flax oil fallacy 

People think that taking flax oil will solve all their problems and they will be getting adequate amounts of omega 3's. Wrong! lt is now being said that humans absorb no more than 6% of omega 3's from flax oil. Taking flax seeds is even worse because it's less absorbable, and taking chia also has it's problems. So taking enough flax, oils or chia to get enough omega 3's will result in a fat overload and make an unhealthy diet, so what is the answer? Well...the there is only one real effective and easy answer; you either drink lots and lots of weed juices and eat sprouted walnuts, or you do it easy and sprout flax and chia seeds. People say to eat avocados, but most avocados aren't fresh, so how good and reliable is the omega 3's? lt is much better to get your omega 3's from sprouts.  

Powdered wheatgrass v's powdered algaes and sea vegetables

Even relying on powdered cereal grass (wheatgrass or barleygrass) isn't such a good idea, because according to the people at Hippocrates Health lnstitute powdered cereal grasses only have 100th of the power of freshly squeezed grass juices (the power is in the juice). And even if the powered grass contains the vitamins and minerals...if the electromagnetic vibration in the food is gone, then it is virtually worthless. lf you don't believe that...all you need to do is test it for yourself. Juice some wheatgrass and drink it and feel how potent it is, then mix some powdered wheatgrass and compare. There is no different what-so-ever, the freshly squeezed cereal grass is completely superior to any powdered cereal grass despite what any company tries to tell you. lf powdered cereal grass was so good, you would have places like Hippocrates health Institute (HHI) selling it, but instead they do things the hard way, they employ staff to grow it and teach their students to do the same. 

With powdered algae (AFA blue-green algae/E3 live, Chlorella, Spirulina) and sea vegetables it is different because, according to Dr Brian Clement, the cellular structure of water based plants captures the electromagnetic vibrations of the plant for up to two years before the potency begins to get lost. And clinical research on patients at HHI over the years has shown that these powdered supplements obviously do work and improve upon their diet of fresh sprouts and grasses. When a patient is fed sprouts and grasses (the best types of land foods) their health improves, but when sea vegetables are added people's health [on average] improves even more, and when algaes are added people's health improves even more [on average] again and recovery speeds up. Decades of clinical research and scientific testing done on over 250,000 people has backed up this conclusion. 

 

l will talk much more on the miracles of Chlorella and  E3 live/AFA blue-green algae in another chapter. The health improving abilities of these two foods is simply staggering and has even defied many long held scientific beliefs.

The healing power of various sprouts

These are notes l took from an audio lecture given by Dr Brian Clement of Hippocrates Health Institute. During his 40 years of healing people this is some of the discoveries he has made on various sprouts in helping get people well. Other notes are taken from Brian's book called Hippocrates Life Force, and a few notes are from my experiences with various sprouts and grasses.  

 Fenugreek sprouts

 * boosts the gastrointestinal tract

 * stabilizes blood sugar (58% of people at Hippocrates Health Institute who consume regular fenugreek sprout juice are able to give away all their diabetes medication). So if you have cravings then start drinking 250ml of this drink every day. lt works! 

* helps body odor 

I had digestion and liver problems because l used to get very toxic, and not even a blended all raw sproutarian diet was helping. But the moment l started juicing 8 - 16 oz (250 - 500 ml) of fenugreek sprout  juice each day my digestion and liver was in better shape than when l was a teenager 25 years before. Fenugreek sprout juice work MIRACLES on me and l am still amazed at how quickly it worked.  It took about two months to see a massive improvement. Since my liver repaired, my skin also greatly improved. Juices are the only true way to heal properly, blending doesn't even come close.  

 Broccoli sprouts (potent against cancer cells)

 * one of the phytonutrients in Broccoli sprouts called glucoraphanin was observed that when consumed, is converted by the body into sulforphane which has been found to be the strongest natural inducer of the bodies own enzymes against carcinogens ever discovered. According to John Hopkins University in 1997, broccoli sprouts contained 50 times the amount of glucoraphanin over the conventional broccoli vegetable.

Phytonutrients are the most outstanding nutritional discovery ever made, and cereal grasses are the highest source of these super nutrients. Forget the vitamins and minerals with cereal grasses, it's all about the phytonutrients and oxygen levels in the food.

* If you can't get a good breath of air because of weak lungs, this is the drink for you, it makes a noticeable improvement quickly. No other green drinks are as effective in my opinion. 

* Rye grass increases sexual function, but so do all sprouted grains, especially millet sprouts in my opinion.

* a good blood purifier

* improves circulation

* helps deter growth of tumors

 * Dr Brian Clement has found it possibly the most beneficial sprout for treating heart problems.

 * Good for blood problems (cleans the blood really well)

 Mung bean sprouts

 * One of the best foods for stopping grey hair and balding. But not everyone can prevent grey hair. Dr Clement says about 50% of people can grow back their natural colour while the other 50% will never lose the grey hair. Unfortunately l am in the later group. 

 * Very good for prostrate and breast cancer.

 * highest discovered food for the enzyme `anxinon' (a very potent anti aging factor)

* helps overcome glandular disfunction 

 Adzuki sprouts

 * good for bladder complaints

 Onion/Garlic sprouts (very potent against tumors)

 * could possibly be the most potent anti tumor foods ever discovered according to clinical testing of patients done at Hippocrates Health Institute . lf you have tumors, then a glass of onion and garlic sprout juice and a winning attitude certainly wouldn't hurt. 

Ginger sprouts

 * Dr Clement says they work wonders for menopause, but l would imagine many sprouts would because of all the hormones they contain in them. The hormones have worked wonders on me: much stronger and deeper voice, much more muscle, good sex drive now etc.

There is also suggestions that these plant hormones are broken down by the body and somehow the body is able to manufacture human hormones. I wouldn't be surprised given my experience in becoming more of a man.

But the most important thing to remember is that sprouts contain the highest source of nutrition (especially disease fighting and healing phytonutrients), contain the highest levels of electromagnetic vibrations at all times because they are fresh foods that have been shown to exert an electrical charge on cells, and they are even supposed to replenish the body of enzymes. We have everything at our finger tips and it's so easy and cheap to grow them, but we keep on shooting ourselves in the foot and get other people to grow less nutritious mature foods for us instead. Having other people mass grow food won't work unless the person who does the farming lives locally (the high electrical charge of the food is lost in when mass farming occurs), but even then modern day farming to masses of people in the radiated, polluted and stress filled world doesn't seem near enough to take care of our needs anymore...no source of mass farming is going to work and keep away disease in this day and age in my opinion. It's time we got responsible for growing our own food and started  sprouting because no other foods can stand the test of times in the 21st century. We need FRESH high charged food, not food which has been picked a week or more ago. 
 
Try juicing week old broccoli and having it everyday for a week or two, and then juice fresh broccoli sprouts and have that for a week or two.  See if you can feel the difference.

When asked about his experience with AFA blue-green algae, Dr. Clement shares this about a study that he implemented

 “Well, let’s start and go back 15 to 16 years ago. Victor Kulvinskas , some of the listeners may know him, the author of a book called Survival in the 21st Century, came to me and said, do you realize in Asia, for instance in Japan, 65 percent of the population gets up daily and takes a supplement called algae? My immediate reaction was, gee, that sounds very strange, but he is wise enough to send me a compilation of research that had been collected over a 50 year period, globally, and I was absolutely dumbfounded. I knew nothing about this and I read diligently and within a matter of about 30 days, I started my first research studies at the Institute, this was about 15 years ago. And what we did is separate the 294 people into two groups. One (group) was on a clay we put in veggie capsules and we were telling them they were on algae, the other half of the group of approximately 150 were on algae. Then we did a double blind study for about 18 months. And our socks were blown off because here we were believing we had the top program, dietarily, in the world with the proof of thousands of people healing disease on it and fighting off aging as I have done and everyone else who’s on it and I was shocked when I put people on this along with everything else we were doing. Now, what I started to see after three years of observation and blood profiles is that constitutional states started to get strong and healthy. Now, this blew my mind because I had to speak to 20 different scientists I knew who are much brighter and wiser than I on the subject and all of them basically said it’s impossible and by the end all 20, along with me, realized that this is what was happening. You are actually, by taking this algae, filling up the foundation of who you are physiologically, as well as your health, your neurological system, your organ system, the blood, everything that has to do with you as a physical being with strength. So now, if you have a strong constitution with an impeccable life style, guess what? You will not only have a long healthy life, you will have a longer, higher quality and a much healthier life and be fighting off the aging process.

 In further studies, spanning 2-3 years, Dr. Clement found that the AFA was a very direct and powerful, but very subtle form of nutritional supplementation that few had ever understood or researched before. The DNA in each of the 7 billion+ people is what makes us individuals. DNA is the most fundamental part of a human being. Dr. Clement had found, through his studies, the AFA fills in the nooks & crannies of our DNA which could change or prevent health issues inherent to our family history. Just because your parents, grandparents and other relatives have suffered from a health condition, it does not mean you are destined for the same, especially when eating healthy food, exercising and consuming AFA.

Blending versus juicing

I will start by saying that blending is an excellent way to begin an all raw diet because it provides high energy, fills you up, provides good fiber that helps clean you out, and it is easy to consume lots of food in a short amount of time without having to chew raw food for hours on end. Having said that, blending is not the answer to real high level health.

I will first present some theories on blending and then l will later state my experiences with juicing v’s blending and what Dr Brian Clement reports of the experiences of patients at his Hippocrates Health Institute. There is a vast difference and you will find that juicing is far superior when you try it for yourself.

Lots of general opinions floating around about blending, but what is the science? You get some folks like Victoria Boutenko and Kevin Gianni give opinions favouring blending, but their explanations are weak and lack proper qualified explanation.  Victoria says that the fiber in blended foods helps stop it oxidising, but l know from my experiments that this is not the case. My apples still go brown after 30 seconds of blending, and my green smoothies start going slightly sour and taste horrible after 30 minutes after only a 30 – 50 second blend.  Sure the fiber slows down the oxidation, but it still seems to do some damage to the food quality and the smoothie goes down hill quite rapidly.

Then we come to Brian Clement who goes into detail and actually gives figures for the percentage of nutrition destroyed, not vague generalizations like everyone else gives. He says some of the cheaper blenders kill around 85% of nutrition, and the Vitamix kills around 92% after roughly a 90 – 120 second blend. Now how did he come to these figures? I recall he had a scientist from The University of Florida do the testing for him. This is what Brian reports about blending:

There is also Michael Bergonzi who claims that blending is no good because it changes the electrical frequency vibrations of the thing being blended. He did an experiment by blending water for one minute, let it cool, and then watered a pot plant for a month with the blended water while watering another pot plant with non blended water, and he found that the pot plant that used the blended water was dead within one month.  See 40:30 – 41:40 of this video below fro Michael’s explanation:

Then there is my experience. I started out by blending nearly all my food, and l usually only blended small amounts of sprouts for no longer than 30 seconds. My energy was high and l became quite clean inside, but l was very full of gas (fermentation?)  and my face was still blotchy and never seemed to get better, and my digestion still seemed poor. When l switched over to green sprout juices, my face quickly started to become clear, my energy became higher, my gas problems stopped,  and my organs and digestion seemed to greatly improve. In my opinion my clear face was a result of my organs healing – it was something that never happened on blended food. And l do not think it is any coincidence that Dr Brian Clement reports exactly the same thing with his thousands of patients at Hippocrates Health Institute. Brian says that juicing heals but blending doesn’t! Given all the things said in this topic, l well and truly believe that Brian is completely correct.

The reason it is not advised to blend fruit and vegetables together is because the sugars and acids in fruits slow the digestion of the carbohydrates in vegetables which will cause fermentation and possibly bloating and gas. l found this to be true also. I blended an apple with green sprouts once and the results were disastrous because l got pains and very uncomfortable gas. Many folks are used to bad combinations of food so they have adjusted to bad eating habits, but when you combine foods perfectly you will notice how bad the fruit and greens combination is. So yes...most of these raw food leaders are teaching us all bad habits, and to add to their bad teaching habits they also stand up and talk while drinking the smoothie. lt's like raw food is just one big party to them. We must sit down quietly with a calm mind and swish those juices around in our mouth and chew them and keep focused on the food while we are eating and drinking. It’s worth developing these good habits so we maximize the nutrition and power we extract from the foods. 

Also be careful of the hype promoted by blending companies and the teachings of many youtube raw food people. Juicing may not be perfect, but it is clearly superior to blending, but a juice needs to be consumed within minutes of drinking. Juicer companies like to make all types of claims and say their juicers keep juice stable for days, but would be taking these claims with a grain of salt.
